Tristan Chimney Inspections is based in Vancouver, Canada. We are certified in Basic Visual Inspection and Closed-Circuit Video Inspection.

Basic Visual WETT Inspection Content
A visual inspection details the fine points of stoves/fluepipe (clearances/ installation), inserts, fireplaces and chimneys. This service delivers a detailed report for examining the existing condition of each system, code violations and potential fire hazards. Recommended repairs and safety tips are provided.

Closed-Circuit Video Inspection
A video camera is put in the chimney, most often through the throat, so we can see the entire inner portion of the chimney. This is done from the living space with video and pictures for the report exposing any damage.

We recommend that you are present so any questions can be easily answered. Should anything be found, it can be explained with full clarity.

This service provides the kind of reliable information you need before making a decision regarding the extent of repairs and the overall safety
of the chimney. It is our job to inform you of any potential hazards. We
do not perform any repairs; we simply deliver the highest standard in certified inspections, applying the safety guidelines as set forth by the Manufacturer, B.C. Building Code and the B365-01.
